Oppenheimer is an upcoming movie directed by acclaimed director Christopher Nolan. It describes the race against the nazis to build an atomic bomb by Opponheimer. He was the lead scientist of the manhattan project, an american effort to build an atomic bomb in the secret facility at Los Alamos. He was the man responsible for creating the most destructive weapon in the world but in his later life regretted and feared his own creatiron. He is famous for his quote "Now i am become death, destroyer of worlds" since he was an avid reader of Bhagvat Gita. The atomic bomb is one of the most controversial inventions of the war. While it is destructive, it can be argued that it has helped maintain peace due to the concept of MAD or mutually assured destruction which has prevented war between major nuclear powers such as the US and USSR. Christopher nolan is known for his love for practical effects over CGI and I can't wait to see his work in the cinemas this July.
