much haz been speculated about the reason behind the train accident in odisha
so whom can be blamed regarding the train accident?
the train master?
the railway minister?
the BJP govt?......


NAH ...itz the people whoz to be blamed.....
why?

To me, it is the Greed of the Bosses and Tolerance of the Masses.

Be it the graphite rods of the Chernobyl, or the safety systems of Bhopal Gas, or the Coromandel Express accident, it is the Greed. A nuclear plant of that magnitude or the transportation system of such a highly populated country like India where 10,000+ trains are running through lengths and breadths of the nation like veins in our body, carrying 2 crore+ people should have not just proper safety systems in place, but absolutely there should not be any chances of accidents. Probability should not just tends to zero, but ZERO!!!

Aren't we aware that graphite rods could cause overheating, aren't we aware that express trains could enter loop line? Even if there is one in a billion chance or one in trillion or One in a Zillion chance, is it still not a chance? Who gave anyone any authority to take that chance with 2 Crore+ people lives?

Worst thing is inspite of us having all the resources to prevent this mishap, we let this happen. Coromandel Express could have been saved. But then the bosses has the authority to decide whose pockets can these resources fill in and the masses are just fine with it.

Why the loop line should be just 750 metres when the length of a goods train is 650 metres? A 50 odd metres to stop an express train running at 140 kmph should it enter loop line? Why not 2000 metres or even 3000 metres? Aren't we having so much space beside the main line or are the Tatas or the Jindals not producing enough Steel?

Is it not funny that no one has ever expected such system failure (i highly doubt it cld be a system error) would lead an express train into a loop line. Bosses saved those costs and busy shopping. Cost cutting of bosses would mean cutting of fingers, limbs, heads of masses. Chernobyl, Bhopal Gas might be once in a 1000 years phenomenon. Coromandel could be once in a 25 years phenomenon. But, no one has any rights to take any chance with even a single life which is once in only once phenomenon

A simple ACS alias KAVACH or ATP would be saved thiz but poor us we didn't ve Mamta in the central long enough to implement that

While Kavach is a good development in preventing collision, it does not apply to 'all possible' cases. Coromandel express might not have had Kavach implemented, it doesn't mean that absence of Kavach caused this accident!
