the hardest part for me when i am trying to control my diabetes issues is when i have to stay away from an afternoon tea ...

that is really a bit hard

i keep trying ... but avoiding tea is becoming really difficult ...

what else can you try drinking ?

I neither like nor drink coffee or tea, and I'm perfectly fine without any drinka. Sometimes, fresh juice is enough for me.

I've heard that people who are used to drinking coffee/tea find it hard to go without it. Maybe you could try gradually reducing your intake instead of stopping abruptly.

Try Black coffee once. In that way, you can stay away from sugar.
Once you develop a taste for black coffee, you will never go back to regular coffee.

Caution: starting la konjam kashtama dhan irukkum😂

this one is the only good alternative drink i feel comfortable drinking without adding sugar ...

but that is part of my morning breakfast ...

maybe i should drink that in the evening instead of drinking it with my breakfast

i think i might have solved my evening food and drink issues ...

i am going to eat a steamed banana and drink a glass of d - protein drink after i come back home from work ..

that way i can get my energy levels back up quickly ... without eating any fried ... or oily or junk foods

and after that i can have something light for the dinner too ...

I have given up the commonly consumed coffee and tea made with milk recently. Starting the day with fresh veggie juices instead of a mug full of hot coffee. Some days i m gulping black coffee made with vellam / karuppatti. We made a small group in office too for black / lemon tea. Recently i have been disturbed by Shri Arvind's arguments i m trying to become vegan. Giving up meat was not sufficient for milk too causes equal pain.

Hello Balan72 ,

What kind of vegetable juice do you drink in the morning ?

i don't like the idea of becoming a very strict vegan ... because i do like meat eggs and fish ...

i don't like meat everyday ... but i like it once a week at least ...

yesterdays evening food was awesome for me ...

ah great , i used to drink amla juice too ...

its so full of good nutrients and it helps with the detoxification of the body

i have a theory about food and diet ...

too much of everything is bad ...

we have to keep it in the right balance ...
