The final image etched in my mind,
a countdown flickering on the TV screen
not for newyear's arrival
with 2 dwindling seconds remaining

the power shutdown.
felt like earth halting in its rotation,
and I, caught in free fall,
propelled by an unyielding force.

Now, in this peculiar realm,
precisely as I envisioned,
a canvas of pristine white,
bathed in an abundance of sunlight.

A man in white,
visibly troubled
yet trying hard to be cheerful
greeted me.

Myriad of questions swirl within,
yet only one escapes my lips,
"Did it happen?"
"Yes," he affirms.

"I dont have much time", he warns
"Two doors stand before you,
Choose one wisely."
"Behind one, all the dead live,
Behind the other, all the living remain"

Baffled, I asked
"Isnt there a hell or heaven"
"yes", he said
"Thats why the two doors"

This poem is about what would ww3 be like. All powerful nations have nuclear weapons, so will likely be a series of nuclear strikes against each other. And most countries have tech to track missiles, which is why the countdown.

Two doors is a reference to being dead or staying alive during the nuclear apocalypse. Nuclear bomb explosion la saagrathu is terrible, millions die.
But atha vida oru living hell is the after effects and radiation poisoning and people living with it, passing the defects for generations to come.
That’s why earth is the hell, and just being dead and not walk on earth is a heaven.
