I too agree its possible .However its always frowned upon . Lots of assumptions and accusations are misplaced. There is always the ' what goes on backstage' kinda question. I wudnt dare say this mostly happens in the indian community for fear of offending a certain group but generally platonic friendship doesnt augur well in the asian society.

I guess platonic relationships are not uncommon.. It has bern there from time immemorial, especially in joint families, between best family friends..
