In fast growing technical world it is important to have control over one's own emotions. It is very challenging to get in and sustain human relationships. The success of maintaining relationship among the famil members, friends and colleagues has become a difficult task. Inorder to build good human relationship one should have control over one's emotions. That is termed as Emotional Intelligence.

WHAT IS EMOTION?
In psychology, emotion is often defined as a complex state of feeling that results in physical and psychological changes that influence thought and behaviour.

HOW DO EMOTIONS EMERGE?
An emotion is a complex reaction pattern consisting of three components:
a physiological component
a behavioral component
and an experiential (conscious) component.

HOW IS HEART RELATED TO EMOTIONS?
Even though emotions are centred in the brain, a strong rush of emotion such as fear, anger or love pumps adrenalin to the heart. This accelerates the heart beat. So, prior to the advancements in science, the heart was thought to be responsible for emotions.

10 WAYS TO INCREASE YOUR EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE

1. Utilize an assertive style of communicating.
2. Respond instead of reacting to conflict.
3. Utilize active listening skills.
4. Be motivated.
5. Practice ways to maintain a positive attitude.
6. Practice self-awareness.
7. Take critique well.
8. Empathize with others.
9. Utilize leadership skills.
10. Be approachable and sociable.

Aristotle says, "Anybody can become angry - that is easy, but to be angry with the right person and to the right degree and at the right time and for the right purpose, and in the right way - that is not within everybody's power and is not easy".

Therefore my dear friends lessen your anger, handle situation with rationality and to conclude
