Search exists in everyone's lives.
Some are subtle, while others defy gravity.
They give you a purpose with a touch of pain,
and a sense of fulfillment when you gain.
Some seek for that does not exist, aware it is a chase
that is painful, but there is something more bitter.
You know it exists, and where it exists
and you have searched for it all the right places
with your fingers crawling into the depth of abyss,
Hoping for success in the next fraction of space, a relentless fight,
and yet no treasure in sight.
Strangely, amid the elusive pursuit,
Stumbling into lost things so valuable to you,
but are of no importance right now.
Racing against time, fighting a dozen eyes from awkwardness,
you finally decide to give up.
At that instant, you find it!
I swiped in, adjusting my hair with grace,
Like nothing happened, I walked in to the space.
