When the children are feeling happy these years, the brain is programmed to be happy and it keeps on resonating all along the life. And similarly if its haunting and traumatic, the person can never be at peace how so ever he/she are learned later on.

And coming to this case, when a child is abused at that formative years, that gets engrained into its mind and keeps resonating all through the life. The child sees the world with reference to its experience in its formative years unknowingly. That could be the case. Its technically termed as Paediophile for the abusing male adult. Animals in other simple words. They just murder a child more than burning alive which gets done in 10 mins but this burns all of that childs life.

That could be a pathetic possibility, the way the child sees every other human interaction in terms of sexual union. Feeling sad for such souls. And its a nightmare for the clinical psychologists or shrinks who work on the redemption of such victims.
