Just a simple one

With a confused mindset not knowing if she was in reality or a bad dream, few minutes later with a gentle hope of belief that it could be a dream as she believed her bf had always true love towards her and would be profoundly missing her at this time. As I was slowly trying to open my eyes with lots of hesitation, I cd still feel a little bit of moist in my eyes, Suddenly i could hear another known voice saying will you marry me sweet heart. I cd sense a feel of someone who wants to legally get bonded with me symbolizing true love. I slowly opened my eyes to see my bf sitting next to me with lots of roses in his hand . i could not realize what day it was as i was in total disbelief. I asked him with a smile what day it was sweet heart. He replied its Feb14th the valentines day. I could not control my emotions and hugged him with a sense of happiness and emotions with tears in my eyes though i still was anxious about my dream He asked me what happened sweetheart and I narrated about the dream He wiped my tears and said you are the one and the only dream girl in my life. I would still keep loving until the day Ii die. She smiled and hugged him with lots of love...

Being a Valentines day the story ends on a Good note Lol

கண் திறந்து பார்த்தால் அவன் அங்கு இல்லை..தவித்தாள்..கனவு என நினைத்த அவளுக்கு அது பேரதிர்ச்சியாக இருந்தது‌.

இன்று Feb -14 .. அவனிடம் காதல் சொல்ல வந்த எனக்கு இப்படி ஒரு கதறல் தேவையா ? என்று கண் கலங்கினாள்..

அவளின் சத்தம் யாருக்கும் கேட்கவில்லை..அவள் அழத அந்த நொடிக்களுக்கு உண்மை சொல்லி விளக்கவும் யாரும் அங்கு இல்லை..

Feb -13 இரவில்தான் நாம் பேசினோம்..இந்த சந்திப்பில் எனக்கு இப்படி ஒரு சவுக்கு அடி தேவையா ? நான் கண்டது கனவில்லையா? என் மயக்க நிலை உண்மை இல்லையா? என்று உண்மையாக மயக்க நிலைக்கு சென்றாள்.மயக்க நிலையில் Feb -13 இரவு என்ன நடந்தது என நினைக்க ஆரம்பித்தாள்.

தோழன் தோழியாக 6 வருடம் கழித்து வந்த நிலவுக்கும் சூரியனுக்கும் ஒரு காதல். அடுத்த கட்ட வாழ்க்கையின் நகர்வை நோக்கி இருவரும் பயணிக்கலாம் என்ற விகித கணக்கு ஆசையில், இருவரும் அதை சரிவர சொல்லாமல் வாசித்தனர்.

அவன் பெயர் அர்ஜூன். அவளின் பெயர் அனன்யா, அரசு பஸ் பாஸ் பேருந்தில் பயணித்த காலம் முதல் கல்லூரி பேருந்தில் பயணித்த காலம் வரை இருவரும் ஒன்றாகவே படித்தனர்.

பெரிய அறிமுகம் இருவருக்கும் இல்லை என்றாலும் ஒரு நட்பு அவர்களுக்குள் இருக்கும். அது ஒரு பார்வையாய் இருக்கும். ஒரு சிறிய புன்னகையாய் இருக்கும்..

என்றுமே பேருந்தில் பார்க்கும் அர்ஜுனுக்கு அன்று அனன்யா புதிதாய் தெரிந்தாள்.. என்ன என்று தெரிந்து கொள்ள ஆசையாய் அவள் அருகில் சென்றான்..

அர்ஜீன் -" பிறந்த நாள் வாழ்த்துக்கள் அனு"

அனு- " என் Birthday இன்னைக்கு இல்ல அர்ஜீன்"

அர்ஜீன் _" இல்லையா..அப்போ இன்னைக்கு என்ன கலையா இருக்க"

அனு சிரித்துக் கொண்டே

"ஏன் இவ்வளவு நாள் கலையா தெரியவில்லையா?" என்றாள்..

அர்ஜீன் - ஆமாம் தெரியலை.. இன்னைக்கு ஏதோ இன்னும் கொஞ்சம் அழகா இருக்க"

அனு - " ஹோய்.. என்ன Sight அடிக்கிறாயா? கொன்னுடுவேன் என்றாள்

அர்ஜீன் - " அப்படிலாம் இல்லை.. But இன்னைக்கு வித்தியாசமா தெரியுற.. அதான்..என்று அங்கிருந்து வெட்க புன்னகையில் நகர்ந்தான்..

இப்படிதான் அவர்கள் நட்பு மலர ஆரம்பித்தது..

இருவரும் வேறு வேறு துரையை சார்ந்தவர்கள்..ஆனால் பயணத்தில் மட்டுமே ஒரு நட்பு இருந்துக்கொண்டு இருந்தது..

இப்படியே சென்ற நாட்கள் நாளைடைவில் இனம் புரியாத காதலாய் மாறியது..

பேருந்தில் அவனை காணவில்லை என்றால் இவன் தவிப்பதும், இவன் இல்லை என்றால் அவள் தவிப்பதும் தொடர்ந்ததே தவிர இருவரும் காதலை சொல்லவும் இல்லை, ஒப்புக்கொள்ளவும் இல்லை..

ஒருநாள் ஒரு கடிதத்தில் காதலை அவளிடம் தைரியமாய் சொல்லிவிட்டான்..

அதில்

"உன்னை மட்டும் பிடித்திருக்கிறது.. தேடும் பித்தன் ஆகிவிட்டேன்" என்று எழுதி இருந்தது.

இவளுக்கு காதல் இருந்தாலும் அதிர்ச்சியாக காட்டிக்கொண்டாள்..அன்று முதல் அவனிடம் பேசுவதில்லை.. ஆனால் தேடல் மட்டும் இருந்து கொண்டே இருந்தது..

பதில் வர கால தாமதம் ஆனதால் தன்னை பிடிக்கவில்லை என்று நினைத்து கொண்டு அன்று முதல் வேறு பேருந்தில் பயணித்தான்..

அந்த இடைப்பட்ட தேடலின் பிரிவி இவளுக்குள் அவனை தேடியும் காதலையும் அதிகமாக்கி கொண்டே சென்றது..

தன்னால்தான் அவன் வருவதில்லை என்று அவளும் நினைக்க ஆரம்பித்தாள்..

இதற்கு முற்றுப்புள்ளி வைக்க வேண்டும் என்று எண்ணி தனக்குள் உள்ள காதலை அவனிடம் சொல்ல சரியான நாளாக பிப்ரவரி -13- 2024 தேர்வு செய்தாள்..அன்று இரவு அவனிடம் தொலைபேசியில் தொடர்பு கொண்டு

அனு - " இன்று உன்னிடம் என் காதல் சொல்ல வேண்டும்..நாளை உன் கண்களை பார்த்து சொல்ல வேண்டும்" என்று " நான் உன்னை காதலிக்கிறேன்" என்றாள்..

அர்ஜீன் - இதற்காக இவ்வளவு நாள் என்னை தள்ளி வைப்பாயா? இதற்கான பதிலை நான் நாளை நாம் பயணிக்கும் பேருந்தில் சொல்கிறேன் என்று இணைப்பை துண்டித்தான்..

அனுவிற்கு பேரதிர்ச்சியாக இருந்தது. தன்னை பிடிக்கவில்லையா இல்லை வேறு காதல் வந்து விட்டதா என்ற கேள்விகள் கண்ணீரின் விடையாக மாற்றியது..

நேரில் சந்தித்து பேசி புரிய வைக்க வேண்டும் என்று அவள் என்றும் இல்லாமல் Feb -14 -2024 அன்று வேகமாக கிளம்பி பேருந்து நிலையம் வந்தாள்..

தங்களுக்கு தூது சென்ற அந்த அரசு பேருந்திற்காக காத்திருந்தாள்..

சரியாக காலை 7.40 am, பேருந்து வரவில்லை.. பேருந்து மட்டும் இல்லை அந்த சாலையில் எந்த வண்டியும் வரவில்லை..

அந்த வழியாக ஒரே ஒரு ஆட்டோ வந்தது.. அந்த ஆட்டோ ஓட்டுனர் அங்கு நின்ற மக்களிடம்,

" இந்தப் பக்கம் இன்னைக்கு பேருந்து வராது..ஆட்டோ இல்லை வேன் பிடிச்ச போங்கப்பா" என்றார்..

அனு -"அண்ணா என்ன ஆச்சு அண்ணா?"

ஆட்டோ ஓட்டுனர் -" 7.40 பஸ் Accident ஆச்சும்மா, வழி Full Traffic " வண்டி எல்லாம் சுத்தி போகுதும்மா என்றதும் அவளுக்கு எதும் புரியவில்லை..

கண்ணீர் விட்டாள்,கதறினாள்.. "அண்ணா என் அர்ஜீன் " என்று கதறினாள்..

"எல்லாரையும் பக்கத்து GH கொண்டு போறாங்கம்மா.. ஆட்டோ வேணுமா" என்றார்..

அனு " அண்ணா Please அண்ணா, கொஞ்சம் வேகமாக போங்கனா என்று ஆட்டோவில் அமர்ந்தாள்..

ஆட்டோ GH நோக்கி நகர்ந்தது.

ஆட்டோ பேருந்து Accident இடத்தை கடக்கும் சில இரத்த படிவங்கள் படிந்த Collage I'd கள் ரோட்டில் கிடந்தன..அவை யாவும் அனு கண்களில் பட்டன‌.. சாலை போக்குவரத்து சேவைகள் வழிப்பாதைகளை சரி செய்து இருந்தது‌‌,

மக்களின் பதட்டங்களும், Ambulance siren சத்தங்களும் அனுவை மேலும் மேலும் பயமுறுத்தி கொண்டே சென்றது.

ஆட்டோ GH அடைந்தது.. 17 பேர் பலி, 45 பேர் படுகாயம் என செய்தி சேகரிப்பாளர்கள் செய்திகளை GH வாசலில் அறிவித்துக் கொண்டு இருந்தனர்..

இவள் அதை கவனித்து கொண்டே சென்றாள்..என் அர்ஜுனுக்கு ஒன்றும் ஆக்கூடாது என தன் சுடிதார் Shawlயை இறுக்கமாக பிடித்துக்கொண்டே நடந்தாள்..

நடக்கும் பாதையெல்லாம் இரத்த படிவங்களும் அழுகை சத்தங்களும் ஆர்ப்பரித்து கொண்டே இருந்தன..

வெள்ளை துணியால் போர்த்தப்பட்ட இரத்த பூத உடல்கள் அங்கும் இங்குமாய் எடுத்துச் சென்று கொண்டிருந்தனர்..

அனு அர்ஜீனை தேடி அங்கும் இங்குமாய் ஓடினாள்..ஒரு வேளை அர்ஜூன் இந்த பேருந்தில் வரவில்லையா? என்று தனக்குள் கேட்டு கொண்டாள்..

ஆனால் அவளின் இதயமும் மனசாட்சியும் இங்குதான் இருக்கிறான் என்று சொல்லி கொண்டே இருந்தது..

தேடினாள்.. ஓடினாள்..

ஓடும் வேளையில் வெள்ளை துணியால் போர்த்தப்பட்ட ஒரு உடலின் கை அவள் கையை தட்டிவிட்டது..


நின்றாள்..

இதய பதட்டம் அதிகமானது..

கண்கள் விரிந்தன..

திரும்பிய அவள் மெல்லமாக அந்த துணியை அகற்ற நினைத்தாள்..

கைகள் ஆட்டம் கண்டன..

மெல்ல தடுமாறி அந்த துணியை அகற்றியதும்" அர்ஜூன்" என் கட்டிப்பிடித்து கதறினாள்..

" அர்ஜீன் அனு வந்திருக்கிறேன்" எழுந்திரு Please " எழுந்திருடா " என்று கதறி மயங்கினாள்..

" மயக்கத்திலும் அவள் வாய் சொற்கள் " அர்ஜூன் அர்ஜூன்"என சொன்னதை உணர முடிந்தது..

என் காதல் இவனிடம் சொல்லாமலே இவன் சென்றுவிட்டான் ..இனி என் வாழ்க்கை எதை நோக்கி பயணிக்கும் என வேகமாய் கண்களை மூடிக் கொண்டு மாடியை நோக்கி ஓடினாள்...

கண்களை திறந்தாள்..விசிறி ஓடிக்கொண்டிருந்தது, உடல் வியர்த்து கொட்டியது..

"மணி 7 ஆயிடுச்சு, இன்னும் Collage கிளம்பாம அப்படி என்னடி தூக்கம் என்று அம்மாவின் அதட்டல் சத்தம்..

இது கனவா? இல்லை நினைவா என பதற்றத்தில் இருந்தாள்..

தொலைபேசியில் மணி பார்த்தாள். Feb -14-2024 , 7.10 am என இருந்தது..

இன்னும் அர்ஜூனை சந்திக்கவில்லை அவள்..

பேருந்து நிலையம் வந்த அவள், 7.40 am பேருந்தை பார்த்தாள்..

அப்பொழுதுதான் அவளின் உண்மை நிலையை அடைந்தாள்..

அர்ஜூனை சந்தித்தாள்..

" அர்ஜீன் நாம் லவ் பண்ணி 6 வருடம் ஆகுது..ஆனால் இன்னைக்கு தான் உனக்கு Propose பண்ற மாதிரி கனவு கண்டேன். பயமா இருந்துச்சிடா..நீ என்னைவிட்டு போயிடுற மாதிரி கனவு டா". நாம் School Time ல் இருந்து லவ் பண்றோம். ஆனால் இன்னைக்கு தான் உன்ன பார்க்குற மாதிரி இருக்கு" என்றாள்..லவ் யூ டா " என் அவள் தோள் சாய்ந்தாள்..

அர்ஜீன் அவன் நெற்றியில் முத்தம் இட்டு "பயப்படாதே நான் இருக்கிறேன்" என்றான்.. பயம் தெளிந்து அவன் தோள் சாய்ந்த சமயத்தில் அவன் சட்டை பாக்கெட்டில் இரத்தம் படிந்த ID card " யை பார்த்தாள். பயந்து " அர்ஜீன்" என கத்தி எழுந்தாள்..கனவு இப்பொழுதுதான் கலைந்தது..

Echoes of love

I sprinted, my heart pounding with each step, but the destination remained elusive. Echoes of the voice reverberated in my mind, igniting panic within me. Did it truly occur? The love I held for him surged, mingled with confusion. Why now? Just yesterday, he was his usual self during our conversation. What happened now? I was just fooling around, hadn't he recognized that? If this nightmare unfolded before me, how could I ever forgive myself? Arriving at the correct address, a haunting silence greeted me. No one in sight, and calls unanswered. My footsteps faltered as I approached, pool of blood. Blood everywhere. Exhaustion washed over me, dizziness enveloping my senses. The sight of blood filled my vision as my eyelids drooped. Darkness descended, consuming my consciousness. Blood... the last image etched in my mind before succumbing to oblivion. What followed? Was it a dream? Am I still in dream? or have I awoken in a hospital bed? Is he here with me now? Should I dare to open my eyes? Will I ever see him again??

As she grappled with the overwhelming sense of confusion, a single thought echoed relentlessly in her mind: Was this her reality, or merely a cruel trick of her subconscious? Only time would reveal the truth, but until then, she remained suspended in a world of uncertainty, haunted by the lingering echoes of her darkest fears.

Manu was still in shock from his conversation with Priya yesterday. He was processing everything that happened since he first met her, while mopping the floor of a secluded deserted building he found in google maps.
Manu is a simple soul, naive, gullible, not a thinker but his love for Priya was pure and unwavering. As usual, he had his mental roundtable conference, where voices were deciding his future with Priya.
"cha 1 year ah love panrom, ivalo periya vishyam enkita irunthu marachutaale"
"Ava solala na, unaku engada pochu arivu, nee kandupidichurukanum. Entha ponaachu night outing varen nu othupaala, apove nee yosichurukanum"
"Nee veguli ah iruke iruke nu solliye nalla molaga arachuta"
"Atha vidu, anaiku kovil ku evalo koopte, vanthaala. movie kum Beach kum porathuna thaane varaa" "cha ipo thaan elaame puriyuthu.. ava yaara vena irukatum, but unmaya solerklaam la, epidi ivalo naal nadika mudinjithu oru college pora sarasari nalla ponnu maathuri"

He almost decided and threw the mop, started to leave.
"Yaara iruntha ena da, ava un Priya da"
He walked back and picked up the mop.


Present

Priya slowly opened her eyes and heard the beeping heart and BP monitors. She was still confused and took a few seconds to realize she was at the hospital. As soon as she came to senses, she sprung up from bed "Manuu, mannu unaku enaachu, en phone enga..". She tried to reach her bag, when she heard a loud clatter! (noise of a bowl falling). She froze and looked at the bed beside her, and opened the curtain that divided the beds. It was Manu!
Manu looked a bit terrified but managed a smile, "Elunthitiya kutty.."
Priya, now hysterical "Manu!!! Kaluthee.. yenda ipidi panine.. unakku ethaachu ayirukum nu naa rombo.." threw a pillow on him.
Manu: "Hey onnum ila d, konjam blood loss avalo thaan"
Priya: (burst into tears, thinking of all the blood she saw) "ayoo yen da, loose ah neee, yen ipdi panine"
Manu: (got up from his bed and sat next to her, hugging her from the side) "unaku pidicha maari valentines day ku propose pananum nu nenachen, aana blood konjam jaasthi poiruchu"
Priya: "dei kaluthey, ithe thaan da phone la solli ena tension aakine. Pathari adichu odivanthen, nala vela Ramya kita solitu vanthen"
Manu: "cha, plan elaam spoil ayiruchu. 'I you Priya' nu elutheerpen. Seri atleast '' aachum paathiya nee?"
Priya: (still in shock) naa epo da sonen ipidi loose maari panina enaku pidikum nu. (she squeezed and pulled his arms closer, making him hug her more)
Manu: "nee solala, but nee unapathi sonathum enake thonuchu. seri, naan blood loss mayingiten, nee yen mayangine"
Priya: "pinna, ivalo blood ah paatha"
Manu: (with a chuckle) "blood ah paatha mayangaraye, nee elaam vampire nu veliya solaathe" (continuing to hug her while teasing her)
Priya, sprung from her bed, and broke out of his hug to see his face "enna vampire ah, ada panni payale naa chumma velayutuku sonen da, athuka ipidi blood la elutha pone!!!"
Manu took a few seconds to process what she said and then, "Enna!! apo unoda pallu nu solli kaatinathu"
Priya: (now laughing out aloud) "athu pondi bazaar la vaangina chain da"
Manu: (in anger) "Pothum ithu onnum velayaatu ila" (he turned to storm out)
Priya: (getting up from bed, to stop him) "naa ena sonaalum nambeervaya da en kaluthey, avlo loves ah da" (she was getting closer to him)
"seri un kaluthula enada sprain ah". She said noticing his neck support.
Manu, as he was walking to the door, he stopped, turned and ripped off the neck support and threw it away in embarrassment "oru safety ku poten"
Priya burst out laughing.
Manu still in anger, "sirichute iru, naa kelambren", he opened the door.

"Hey iru..." said Priya, pulling his hand, pulled herself towards him. With effortless grace, positioning herself in between the door and him.
"Nee kuduthute, naan kudukanum la en gift" she whispered, sinking into his chest (figurateively and literally) and started to kiss him. As soon as their lips met, it ignited a fiery passion that swept through their bodies like wildfire. The kiss grew deeper and they both moved away from door, swayed across the room and collapsed into the single sized hospital bed. She stopped for a brief moment to catch her breath, looked at his eyes and gasped "Happy Valentines day da kaluthe!"

He pulled her back to resume what she started, as a gentle breeze swept through the room closing the door with a soft click, granting them privacy and the world around them faded into insignificance.

As Priya opened the door, her eyes widened in disbelief and frozen by the sight before her... Her gaze fixated on the sea of blood, her mind raced back to the haunting day from her past.

14.10.2021 Phoenix Mall Chennai

Amidst the chaos of Diwali crowd, their eyes met... for a second for the first time before he was thrown in the air as the Car with screeching tyres and loud horn failed to distract him from her.
Her heart skipped a beat. Her ears couldn't hear anything as she was standing still watching the people rushing to the spot.
As she tried to recollect her senses, she felt something stopping from moving. It was her friend Chitra who was holding her hand,

Chitra: enga pora? Periya accident madiri iruku. Nee blood paarthaley faint aava, vaa... Veetuku poiralaam

(Unable to utter a word, her trembling hand pointed the spot as she stepped forward, propelled by a force stronger than her fear)

As she was moving closer, she could hear the people talking
Man1: adichu pottu niruthaamaiye poittan. Pechu moochey illa, kashtam dhan
Man2: ambulance ku call pannunga seekiram. Ellorum thalli nillungappa, kaathu varanum

After 5 minutes, Priya found herself inside the ambulance, steadfast, holding his head... The warmth of his blood seeping onto her palm... while he remained unmoved with the warmth of her tears

Arjun was looking at his phone, waiting for the call. He has meticulously planned the entire thing, leaving nothing to chance... yet... How did he miss that one simple thing. Frustrated, he pounded his foot.
Having lost the patience, he ringed her up.

As the Sun sets behind the mountains, painting the sky with a magical hues of orange, her heart filled with awe on seeing the sight, Arjun handed her the cup of coffee and sat beside her on the nature's green carpet
